From my Daily Bible Reading.
Scripture -
Psalm 23:1 - The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
Observation -
If I keep God as my guide, my direction, and my shepherd then I can know that I will not miss out on having what I need.
Application -
If Jesus is my shepherd then worry is not an option. It is easy for me to look at my situation and worry if the things that I need will be there when I need them. However with God in charge of my life I can know that He has my best in mind and is going to be there and provide for me so I lack nothing.
I will never miss out on a good thing that I need if I follow Jesus’ footsteps.
Prayer -
Lord, help me to follow You today. Be my guide, my shepherd, and I know that You will be the one who will give me today my daily bread. Amen.
